Now that the sunny weather has officially come, we can look outside the typical yoga studio to practice downward dog and reconnect with our inner peace in unique spaces all across New York City. And with good vibrations and charged batteries, we will be ready to visit one of the most visited cities in the world. Now, let's start!

      Yoga in a Baseball Field

Now you can have your inner peace along with your popcorn, peanuts and crackerjacks. Baseball and yoga fans come together for this morning yoga class on the outfield grass of Citi Field led by Yoga Alliance certified instructor Steph Armijo. This 60-minute class includes a ticket to that night’s Mets Game and the first 500 through the gates receive a limited edition Mets yoga mat.

Yoga and Sound Healing in a Church

Already a sacred space, a church is the perfect place to get in touch with your inner zen. St. Bart’s Church offers a speakeasy style yoga class – you have to enter through the side door on Lexington & Park, let security know you are there for yoga and they’ll let you into an elevator that will take you the Church’s sanctuary. Donation based, your money will go into raising funds for two causes close to the yoga instructor’s’ hearts. St. Bart's Church 109 E 50th St, New York, NY
